OD Security to perform a live scanning at GSA 09
Netherlands based, OD Security will be performing a live scanning demonstration using their Soter RS Body Scanner Unit at their distributors stand (TJ Systems Pte Ltd) at Global Security Asia 09 next week, in Singapore.
Commonly used metal detectors are beginning to become a thing of the past for security detection purposes. However, proving its worth in many International and National Airports worldwide, is the Soter RS Body Scanner Unit. This unit can detect non metallic objects hidden under clothes, in natural cavities or within the human body.
These items such as narcotics, explosives, precious stones and diamonds, plastic weapons, electronic and video equipment or other contraband can only be detected by highly intrusive total body searches.
The Soter RS Security Body Scanner can undertake a whole body, clothing or body searches detecting everything hidden in or outside the human body within just 10 seconds, negating the need for the previously used intrusive whole body / strip searches.
