Crossmatch announce that the INK Biometric Device won the award at the MET Excellence Awards on March 12th, for “Building a better MET”.  

INK (Identity Not Known) is a mobile biometric device that scans suspects’ fingerprints and confirms their identity within 60 seconds if they are known to police databases. Crossmatch NOMAD fingerprint technology is at the heart of the solution, capturing high-quality single fingerprint images for rapid mobile identification. The device comprises of software produced by MET staff, used on an Android smartphone handset and paired with a Crossmatch fingerprint reader – the Nomad Pocket 30.
