SCANNA INCREASE PORTABLE X-RAY SAFETY WITH INNOVATIVE FLAT PANEL IMAGER
In conjunction with current UK Police requirements for portable x-ray equipment with safer flat image capture panels, UK screening and detection specialists SCANNA have produced an innovative, low cost panel to upgrade its own brand SCANTRAK portable x-ray system and any other system utilising Golden portable x-ray generators.
The latest SCANTRAK digital x-ray systems allow EOD operators to fire and receive x-ray images from an ordinary laptop pc, taking away the need for costly Polaroid film,, developing cassettes. Using a flat image panel also provides a lighter and more portable unit, easier accessibility in tight situations and increased safety for the operator as no re-approach to a potentially lethal device is required.
