The World Border Security Congress concluded today
A recurring theme throughout the conference was the call by border agencies worldwide for greater levels of co-ordination, co-operation and communication. It was therefore received with great enthusiasm the news, announced at the event, that OSCE have launched a new sharing platform for border organisations.
It was also announced that World Border Security Congress will launch a World Border Security password protected networking platform for invited agency and government delegates. On it they will be able to continue the great dialog and communication started at the event but also access the presentations, share case studies, best practice documentation, technology news and more. It will, they hope facilitate ongoing networking opportunities.
The organisers thanked the Moroccan Government and the Ministry of the Interior for the fantastic support for the event as well as a range of organisations including the OSCE, EAASP and IOM.
