Danish PM says; "RESON is an example of a successful company of the future"

Danish Prime Minister, Lars Løkke Rasmussen visited RESON's headquarters in Slangerup, Denmark Wedensday 17th August, 2011 to view their production and calibrations facilities, and show his support for recent improvements undertaken by the company which has ensured continued growth in an environment of International Competition.
Rasmussen said, "RESON is an example of a successful company of the future".

RESON is a market leader in underwater acoustic sensors, state-of-the-art echosounders, multibeam sonar systems, transducers, hydrophones, and PDS2000 software, who has fought through the global financial crisis, and with the strong support of investors(*) and banks, the Management Team have taken the necessary steps to bring a positive turnover growth in 2011. Despite a fall of personnel during the past 2 years, RESON has managed to turn the tables and achieve significant growth; The order intake is currently 24% higher than the same time last year, whilst the turnover is now 35% higher than last year (July, year to date).

It was based on this determination to succeed, and bring RESON through the tough times, that The Prime Minister chose to visit RESON. Through RESON's fortitude and with staff, and investors working closely together, the company has learnt a lot from the troubles of the past, and is keeping the workforce fully employed by not choosing a cheaper alternative of outsourcing production, but rather keeping it in-house, thereby ensuring not only the high quality of its products but also keeping relevant core knowledge within the company.

During his visit, Lars Løkke Rasmussen said, "Companies are the key to jobs and growth and RESON is a prime example of a Danish company that has managed to make it through the crisis and identify opportunities for growth and returning to profitability".

RESONs CEO, Kim Lehmann said "It was a great honour for RESON to host a visit from our Prime Minister. It highlights to our customers, partners, stakeholders, and to competition that RESON is a forward moving, strong, growing and profitable company, who is prepared and more than capable of facing any challenges in the future".
