QinetiQ North America to Support Army Sustainment Command with Intelligence Analysis

$10.3M Rock Island Arsenal contract continues more than six years of service

The Army Sustainment Command (ASC), a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command, has awarded QinetiQ North America a contract to provide a broad range of intelligence analysis support services worth almost $10.3M.

Under the contract, QinetiQ North America's subsidiary Analex Corporation will provide support to ASC headquarters on Rock Island Arsenal and with selected Army Field Support Brigades and subordinate battalions. The five-year, firm fixed price contract continues six-and-a-half years of service already provided to ASC and its precursor organization, the Army Field Support Command.

"We are very pleased to continue our long relationship with the Army Sustainment Command's Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence and Security," says William Torpey, Senior Vice President of QinetiQ North America's Security and Intelligence Business Unit. "Intelligence analysis is one of our core competencies, and we are delighted ASC has chosen to come to us for this support."

"Logisticians today are very much aware that their mission has a strong intelligence dimension," says Steve Cambone, President of QinetiQ North America's Mission Solutions Group. "Army Sustainment Command has become a leader in this important field."
