The SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego (SSC-SD) focuses on the acquisition and support of military-related C4ISR systems. Its procurement spans the full life-cycle spectrum, from concept development to end-of-life support of associated systems and equipment.

To support SSC-SD C4ISR Programs Philadelphia, QinetiQ North America will offer logistics planning, post development assembly and test, worldwide system maintenance, development of user documentation and training courses, delivery of training to users and maintainers, 24/7 Help Desk support, installation and fielding of systems at user sites, and various other technical, operational and administrative support services as specified in the contract. All work will be performed in Philadelphia.

"We are honored to provide our C4ISR services and expertise to SSC-SD, this time as a prime contractor," said Mark Tierney, Vice President, Systems Engineering and Integration Division. "This award demonstrates our capabilities and understanding of what it takes to execute life-cycle support processes to CMMI-level standards."
