BQT is selected for the WORLD'S LARGEST SHOPPING MALL, DUBAI MALL
BQT Solutions Limited (ASX:BQT) is pleased to announce that the company has been selected to provide BQT's miPASS Security products for The Dubai Mall, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Dubai Mall is a unique blend of sophisticated retail and luxury leisure facilities. Global and regional retailers will bring their brands into the mall, which is expected to transform shopping and leisure in Dubai, bidding to become the retail capital of the world.
The vast complex is only one element of the sprawling Downtown Dubai district, the biggest urban development in the Middle East. Also featured within the Downtown district is the Burj Dubai, the world's tallest tower where BQT's security solutions have already been selected for installation. The Old Town, the Residences, an Office Park are also part of this development.
Landscaped gardens and parklands with stunning water features will add to the charm of the Mall. In terms of convenience, some 14,000 parking spaces are planned and The Dubai Mall will occupy some 5.6 million square feet. The Dubai Mall expects to attract 25 million visitors in the first full year of business. More than 1200 stores in 10-15 distinct ‘malls-within-a mall' will form the centrepiece of the Mall's unique retail offering.
