ACTi work with Milestone to empower the first city monitoring project in Poland
ACTi IP cameras and Milestone XprotectEnterprise were successfully installed in Wodzislaw Slaski, which is the first IP surveillance project for city monitoring. The installer was SUMA, a professional surveillance distributor in Poland. This project was for improving safety of citizen and reducing defect of road offences with the development of this city.
Because of critical bandwidth and good video quality demand, SUMA chose ACTi products as the best solution to fulfill the city requirements. The city decidedto use wireless technology due to the distance problem (From camera sites to monitoring center is 300 - 1500m). However, the video quality should be as good as analogue solution. After managing and recording, the city officials are very happy with the deployment of ACTi IP cameras with Milestone software.
