Aerospace Systems and Technologies
RAFAEL is world-renown for its development, manufacturing and support of a vast range of aerospace systems and technologies, including unmanned aerial vehicles, missiles and weapons, electronic warfare and self-protection, electro-optic reconnaissance and intelligence collection, as well as processing systems, analysis, and dissemination tools, airborne data-links and communications, command and control systems.
RAFAEL continues to expand its space activities to include micro-satellites and complete space propulsion systems for satellites and satellite launchers. It offers affordable and highly-effective advanced solutions for both military and commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) missions. The propulsion systems include attitude control and orbital transfer propulsion modules for the Ofek and Eros satellite series, attitude control systems for satellite launchers, electric propulsion systems and cold-gas reaction control systems for micro-satellites. In addition, RAFAEL supplies propellant tanks, thrusters and valves for hydrazine propulsion systems, as well as third-stage solid propellant rocket motors. RAFAEL's components are presently in orbit, on several Israeli and European satellites .
Current and Future Land Combat Systems
RAFAEL specializes in current and future land combat systems and technologies. In addition to the traditional battlefield, RAFAEL's land combat systems are optimal for urban warfare, answering the needs for today's conflicts and anticipating the requirements for tomorrow's front line. These systems and technologies include: detection and neutralization of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), mobile reconnaissance, high precision multi-purpose missiles and launchers, tactical C 4 I, Fuel-Air Explosive (FAE) minefield clearing, active (soft- and hard-kill) protection solutions, remote control weapon stations, acoustic and electro-optic firearms detection and passive and reactive armor for MBTs, AFVs and LAVs. RAFAEL offers quick solutions for urgent and classified requirements such as closed-loop Sensor-to-Shooter systems and integrated weapon/platform C4.
Naval Systems
RAFAEL is a world-class provider of naval combat systems that have been developed through the company's extensive experience and know-how in defense technology. RAFAEL provides solutions for any capability gap in naval surface warfare, ship defense, coastal defense and anti-submarine and underwater warfare. RAFAEL's naval combat systems consist of: electronic Warfare systems, air defense missiles, stabilized weapon stations, electro-optic sensors and fire control systems, C4I and integrated ship communication; unmanned surface vehicles, as well as anti-torpedo defense suites, towed array sonar, towed and expendable decoys and helicopter detection and identification buoys.
