US HELICOPTER ACCESSORIES FIRM IN DUBAI 2003 MID EAST DEBUT

US helicopter accessory industry leader Aeronautical Accessories Inc. (AAI) is making its Middle East air show debut at Dubai 2003, the eighth international aerospace exhibition to be held from December 7-11.

The Tennessee-based company, which specialises in rotary wing modifications, will exhibit in the Dubai air show’s new Helicopter Pavilion, alongside Dubai-based Hawker Pacific Airservices Ltd., which is AAI’s Middle East agent.

“We look forward to welcoming AAI’s team to this part of the world for the first time and introducing them to key decision-makers within the regional industry, said Alan Parsons, Vice President Aircraft Sales Helicopter Group Hawker Pacific Airservices Ltd., which was the first company to sign for Dubai 2003’s Helicopter Pavilion.

Hawker Pacific is an agent for both Bell/Agusta Aerospace Company and Bell Helicopter Textron, of which AAI is a subsidiary.

“The new Helicopter Pavilion, which was launched in response to industry demand and to give greater focus to this important sector, is being well received and the presence of AAI, not only to the pavilion but to the show, is a welcome new addition to the Dubai air show line-up, said Clive Richardson, Aerospace Group Chief Executive of the show’s organiser’s Fairs and Exhibitions (F&E).

The USA’s giant Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a division of United Technologies Company, has also contracted for the Dubai 2003 Helicopter Pavilion.
