New MicroCAM 640x480 thermal imaging cores Thermoteknix Systems’ class-leading new MicroCAMTM core with 17micron pixel draws <1.0W of power and weighs just 44g/1.55oz making it ideal for all low weight, low power consumption applications such as UAV's. Two models of the new high resolution core are available – one with a shutter (requiring a NUC/Non Uniformity Correction) and another version which utilises Thermoteknix patented XTi Shutterless Technology. This technology allows for a camera containing no moving parts which is completely silent in operation and requires no NUC, meaning there is no interruption to viewing. MicroCAM is Thermoteknix’ range of ultra low-powered miniature thermal imaging camera cores which also include 384x288 resolution models and which are incorporated in a number of Thermoteknix products including Clip On Thermal Imagers (ClipIR), handheld binocular devices (TiCAM) and a wealth of OEM products worldwide.
