John Law of Eurocontrol to keynote Avionics Europe conference

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands,- John Law, surveillance programs manager at EUROCONTROL, will keynote the 2010 Avionics Europe conference and exhibition to be held March 24 - 25, 2010 at the Air Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

"EUROCONTROL is driving the move toward satellite navigation in Europe through their CASCADE program, which is responsible for implementing Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B), technology" said John McHale, Avionics Europe Conference Director and Chief Editor of Avionics Intelligence. "Avionics Europe 2010 is of focused on next-generation avionics and next-generation air traffic management such as ADS-B technology. Therefore, we are excited to have Mr. Law kick off our conference on this important topic."

This year's Avionics Europe incorporating Defence Electronics conference programme has an outstanding line up of speakers and topics of discussions for the avionics and defence electronics professional.

Other key speakers include Stephen Van Tress, chief aircraft architect for the Federal Aviation Administration; Didier Delibes, Airbus ATM engineering senior manager; Steve Duenkel, senior program manager, Boeing Commercial Aviation Services; Don- Jacques Ould-Ferhat, head of operations, Quovadis (Airbus PBN Subsidiary); and Simo Tauriainen, avionics system manager, Finnish Commuter Airlines.
